Sierra Leone’s U-16 national basketball team has returned triumphant from the AfroBasket Zone 2 Qualifiers in Guinea, earning a well-deserved spot at the 2025 AfroBasket Championship in Rwanda. Their stellar performance was celebrated at a special homecoming event hosted by Africell Sierra Leone, the team’s proud sponsor.
Held at Africell’s Head Office, the event served as both a celebration and a moment of appreciation. The young athletes, beaming with pride, presented their championship trophy to Africell CEO Shadi Gerjawi in gratitude for the company’s unwavering support.
