Forty years old Sheku Jimmy a supervisor language officer, Thirty-eight years old Hassan Kamara a cashier and Forty-one years old Mohamed Kamara a cashier made another appearance before Magistrate Mary Julian Gbloh of Pademba Road court no.5 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Conspiracy to defraud contrary to law and embezzlement contrary to section 17 (1) (b) of the larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on a date unknown between 12th February to 1st April 2025 at Lungi International Airport terminal Lungi in the Kaffu bullom Chiefdom the PortLoko judicial District the North West Region in Freetown with intent to defraud conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a crime
Count two further stated that on the same date and place the accused persons fraudulently embezzled sixty three sea coach tickets each cost $45 dollars all equivalent to seventy three thousand seven hundred and ten Leones(73,710,00) received by them without Authorisation from sea coach express management
When the charges were read and explained to the accused persons no plea taken
Sergeant 5598 Santigie Koroma led prosecution witness number two Micah Tanimu a Technician attached with Sea Coach as operations manager he recall that he said an Audio recording was made by the first accused with the said Mr Bangura the I.T expect from the Judiciary Victor Tamba Farmer the memory stick containing the Audio recording was Produce and tendered in the court and was also played in court where the first accused was communicating with the said Mr Bangura to send him something the item was not disclosed but the other caller asked the first accused where he was and he confirmed he was in the office he also started that he should not send anything again on the audio recording at this juncture Magistrate Gbloh Adjourned the matter to the 15th July 2025 for the original source of the Audio recording to be formerly tendered to determine the Authenticity of the court audience and it Admissibility
