Komrabai Alusine Kamara, a prominent representative of the Northwest Civil Society in Sierra Leone’s Kambia District, has officially written a formal letter to President Julius Maada Bio.
Alusine was among the civil society leaders who led a delegation to State House after the 2023 elections to congratulate President Bio.
However, to date, he has not witnessed any follow-up actions or progress regarding the requests he made in his speech during that engagement.

Your Excellency,
Warm and respectful greetings to you, Sir.
“I write with deep admiration and unwavering support for your exceptional leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing the welfare of Sierra Leone. As a representative of the Northwest Civil Society in Sierra Leone, I humbly wish to remind you of the critical role I played, along with my colleagues, in congratulating you on your second-term victory after the 2023 elections. This action was driven by my love for our nation and my trust in your vision for a prosperous Sierra Leone.
In taking this bold step, I endured intense social media attacks, threats, and significant personal sacrifices. Despite these challenges, I remained steadfast in my support for your leadership, believing in your promise to build a better future for our country.
However, Your Excellency, I must express my concern that the pledges and assurances made during that significant moment have not yet materialized. While I recognize the immense demands on your time as you address pressing national issues, I humbly appeal for your attention to my previous attempts to connect with you.
I kindly request a meeting with you to discuss matters of national importance that I believe require urgent attention. I trust that, with the support of the Chief Minister and other key stakeholders, this engagement can be facilitated.
As a President renowned for prioritizing action and responsiveness, I remain hopeful that my appeal will resonate with you. I continue to stand as a proud advocate for your leadership and as a dedicated proponent of Sierra Leone’s progress.
In closing, I extend my heartfelt prayers for your continued health, wisdom, and strength. May your tenure be marked by transformative achievements that will inspire future generations.
