Youths excitedly chanted his name in the local Kerio language, singing: “Gambia self say na you, next election self say na you, and de chairman self say na you.” These powerful lyrics echoed a clear and unified sentiment across the APC and its diaspora: Dr. Konteh is widely regarded as the Moses of Sierra Leone.
Speaking to leading Gambian journalists during his visit, Dr. Konteh humbly expressed his purpose: “I am here to support the diaspora and unite our party.” This statement reflects his unwavering commitment to fostering harmony and progress within the APC and beyond.
