Sierra Leone’s most popular content creator, Philip Gabriel Kargbo, and others have been declared wanted by the Sierra Leone Police regarding a recent post circulating on social media on April 7, 2025.
Philip Gabriel Kargbo’s post, titled ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, sparked serious public scrutiny on social media.
During a press conference held at the Sierra Leone Police headquarters at George Street in Freetown, Philip and others were declared wanted by the Sierra Leone Police for this related crime and other public order offenses.
However, Philip was branded as the ringleader who wanted to incite unrest in the country, which served as a security threat and undermined the government of Sierra Leone.
A sum of NLe 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand New Leones) has been offered for anyone who can provide the Police with reliable information about him and the others mentioned.
Philip’s post speaks about imprisonment, ostracization, personal attacks, violence, and state-sanctioned oppression by some state security personnel.
Among other things, two of Philip Gabriel Kargbo’s followers who engaged with his post are currently in police custody at the Criminal Investigation Department, while Philip Gabriel Kargbo is still on the run.
