Sheikh Mohamed Ormodu Kamara, popularly known as “Jagaban” and a leading flagbearer aspirant for the All People’s Congress (APC), has once again demonstrated his Humanity gesture to youth and community development by donating a full set of customized football jerseys to 32 communities participating in the ongoing Central One Football Association (COFA) Inter-Community Champions League.
This generous gesture fulfils a promise he made to local football communities, underscoring his dedication to grassroots football as a tool for unity, youth engagement, and peacebuilding.
Speaking at the event, Jagaban expressed satisfaction with how the league has been conducted so far, commending organizers and participating communities for maintaining peace and order throughout the competition.
” Since the start of the league there has been no commotion. That is commendable. I urge all community representatives to remain law-abiding, as football is a unifying force. I will continue to support COFA whenever the need arises.” Said “Jagaban”
He also pledged to attend the grand finale, where special awards sponsored personally by him will be presented to deserving individuals and teams.
The donation was received with immense gratitude by both COFA officials and community representatives: Mr. Yapo Sillah, Vice Chairman of COFA, and Mr. Algali, a member of the executive, expressed appreciation for the support, noting that it significantly reduces the financial burden on community teams.
