SLPHA DG Signs 2025 Performance Contract

The Director General of the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA), Mr. Yankuba Askia Bio, has officially signed the 2025 performance contract with the Ministry of Transport and Aviation. This milestone reaffirms SLPHA’s commitment to operational excellence, efficiency, and continued development in Sierra Leone’s maritime sector.

SLPHA has consistently ranked as the top-performing agency in 2023 and 2024, a testament to its dedication to improving port operations and service delivery. Under Mr. Bio’s leadership, the Authority has spearheaded key reforms aimed at transforming Sierra Leone’s ports into some of the most efficient and competitive in the subregion.
