It is with profound sadness that I received the news of the passing of Honourable Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray.
Honourable Mansaray devoted much of his life to the service of our beloved All Peoples Congress (APC) and to the nation. From his early days in the Youth League to his eventual rise as National Chairman of the party, he served with unwavering commitment, dedication, and distinction. He also held several public offices, making significant contributions to national development and the advancement of our party.
Beyond his public service, he was a loyal friend and trusted ally. He was among the first to encourage and support my leadership aspirations and remained steadfast during some of the most challenging moments of our struggle for party leadership. His loyalty and commitment endured throughout my tenure in office.
His passing is an immense and irreplaceable loss to his family, the APC, his friends and colleagues, and to me personally. His life touched many, and his legacy of service and devotion will continue to inspire generations to come.
To his beloved wife, children, family members, friends, the APC family, and all those mourning this great loss, I extend my heartfelt condolences. May God grant us strength and comfort during this difficult time.
As we bid farewell to “Orminkay,” as I fondly called him, let us remember a man whose life was marked by purpose, sacrifice, and dedication to others. Though he has departed from this world, the impact he made and the memories he leaves behind will forever remain with us.
May Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
